The Mad West coffee is named after our location inside the United Center and includes rotating artists' work featured on the bag. The first artist, Lauren Asta was a phenomenal launch to the series, with Joey D ushering in his own legendary work for the latest release. In addition to the artwork for the bag, each artist in the series will have four original pieces of art hanging at the United Center, with all proceeds from the sales being donated to charity.
Mad West is a combination of coffees from our farming partners in Guatemala and El Salvador. The washed process Caturra has a juicy red fruit and dark chocolate profile, which plays nicely with the honey processed Pacas/Bourbon, adding richness to the syrupy body.
Joey Depakakibo a.k.a Joey D. is a Chicago born Filipino American artist, animator and motion designer. Most of his work is influenced by old school pop culture and retro designs. Trying to make sense of it all, Joey D. often finds himself escaping into his world of imaginary friends and other made up things. When not creating art, he enjoys adventures with his wife and two boys.
For a limited time see four original Joey D. pieces featured exclusively at Mad West at the iconic United Center. His art will be auctioned off in Fall 2019, and proceeds will be donated to charity.
