Kick back, and take a sip of this collaboration with our friends at Mississippi River Distilling Company who produce the Cody Road Barrel Old Fashioned.
We added this spirit to the porous green coffee under pressure, to infuse the beans with the profile of the booze, absorbing the liquid and adding the nutty, caramel-forward characteristics of the old-fashioned to the Salvadoran beans. After roasting this up, driving off any remaining alcohol content, and caramelizing the sugars- we sent this over to our Chocolate City team to brew up and package through the canning line. While we are switching between seasons here, this is the perfect time for the vanilla, spiced notes of this Cody Road Barrel Old Fashioned, coffee cold style!
