Barrel Mocha

Barrel aged coffee shines the best as a shot of espresso. This drink is one of our favorite ways to bring barrel aged coffee to our menu. This variant of the mocha is mind blowing experience that blows conventional approaches to coffee out of the water. This beverage is a deep dive into a complex and rich experience.

Cafe Miel

For the Cafe Miel, we source honey from our coffee producing partners in Guatemala. The bees in this area have abundant access to flowering trees and plants like hibiscus, eucalyptus, passion fruit, and most importantly coffee! This honey is a portal into the very soul of San Jeronimo Miramar in Guatemala.

Cappuccino

The Cappuccino is the surlier sister to the latte. A milk-based beverage with slightly drier foam. The Cappuccino is one of the most influential beverages in the world so it's very important to us to give it its very deserved attention in the world of Dark Matter Coffee.

Coffee Cold

Chocolate City is our Flagship coffee cold. We use coffees from El Salvador and Guatemala to amplify body and sweetness to build on naturally occurring flavors of cocoa and nougat.

Cortado

Cortados are an incredible way to truly explore a cafe's coffee and milk quality. Unicorn blood lies in the center of this drink with the creamy sweetness of the milk in the peripherals to round out a beautiful silky beverage. A highly skill-based beverage, with no room for error. One of the best ways to enjoy espresso and steamed milk in a tiny package.

Dolor De Oro

This drink is what happens when customers continually ask you to make a spicier version of the Mayan Mocha. The beverage is layered with chocolate cinnamon and habanero to ramp-up the heat and complexity.

Drip

The most classic form of enjoying a cup of coffee. Our brewers are dialed in to the exact parameters to fully express our diverse portfolio of coffees. This timeless and delicious method will always get you where you need to go for the day.

Espresso

Our inspiration and direction come from the greatest espresso culture in the world: Italy. A northern-Italian inspired shot is potent, pulled short and packed with 22 grams of Unicorn Blood. This blend is built to drink beautifully on its own or shine through any form of milk based espresso beverages. Thick creama, packed with nuances of chocolate, lemon and nougat.

Iced Latte

Iced Lattes and the like are easy beverages to get wrong. Milk foam is a cornerstone to any milk-based espresso beverage and it's an extremely important texture in the overall experience. We layer espresso (and other ingredients if needed) to waves of milk and milk foam to get this beautiful marbling to fully complete the experience.

Latte

The juggernaut of espresso drinks. The espresso and the milk foam have to be crafted perfectly to create a balanced experience. Its always important for us to keep Unicorn Blood center stage, and to do that the ratio of milk and milk foam have to be just right. A luxurious way to melt into a morning.

Macchiato

Cafe Macchiato translates to marked coffee - a way to enjoy espresso with a dollop of milk foam minimally diluting the potent complexity of a well-crafted shot of Unicorn Blood.

Mayan Mocha

The Mayan Mocha is one of the original staples of Dark Matter Coffee. This Mocha variant pairs our house Sleep Walk Chocolate syrup with cinnamon and cayenne to add warmth and spice. This is one of those menu items we could never remove - a DMC classic.

Mocha

We've always taken Mochas very, very seriously. We source our own Mexican cacao to build a chocolate syrup that perfectly complements Unicorn Blood. A deceivingly simple beverage that demands every ingredient to be insanely delicious.

Pour-Over

Pour Overs with our Origami ceramics are an optimal way truly explore the nuances of beautiful cup of coffee. This method is a great balance of preserving body as well as having flavor clarity in the brew. A great method providing a deeper look into our coffee cosmos.

Press Pot

Press Pots are a rich and dynamic way of drinking coffee. This method is perfect for enhancing body and creating a lavish experience. Once brewed, this coffee is very much alive and develops and changes dramatically as it cool. The presspot is all about romance, decadence and comfort.

Shiratado

The Shiratado was created in the early years of Star Lounge, our first cafe. Modelled after the more modernist take of a Cortado - originally served in a Martini glass for dramatic effect. It may not be served in a martini glass anymore, but it is one hell of an espresso drink.
