Grind
We've been working with Isamar (Instagram: Kawaii Suga) on this collaboration for 7 years now! She is a Chicago native and heavily involved in supporting the art community in this beautiful city, exploring social taboos women face in her own artwork.

The name of this blend is a nod to Gloria Anzaldúa, an American scholar of Chicana cultural theory, feminist theory, and queer theory, and Gloria Steinem, an American feminist, journalist, and social-political activist.

In the same vein as last year's blend, we're utilizing a honey-processed Catuai from Finca San Jeronimo Miramar in Guatemala as the base. The dry-pulping of the coffee allows most of the mucilage from the cherry to stay intact on the bean, allowing for maximum fermentation to take place while still having the skin of the cherry removed. This creates a juicy, fruit-forward cup of coffee! We paired this with a Colombian coffee from Santa Barbara, which adds a bit of acidity in the cup to maximize the red fruit notes in the blend!

Here's the breakdown:

Country: Guatemala
Farm: San Jeronimo Miramar
Cultivar: Catuai
Process: Honey

Country: Colombia
Farm: Santa Barbara
Cultivar: Mixed (Colombia & Castillo)

Tastes like: red fruit, jasmine, and passionfruit
