Santa Petrona Pacamara Red Honey (Single Origin)

$19.00

Have you ever tasted something so delicious only to be told that's all you get? One taste, one chance to see how delicious something is, then it's gone...These two Pacamara coffees were the culprits of such frustration for the last six years, but that all has changed.

These two Pacamara coffees are from one of Federico Pacas' prized lots. A combination of high demand and finite amount available, this coffee has eluded being part of the DMC catalog until now, so we jumped at the chance when it was offered. Pacamaras are a hybrid of Pacas (a dwarf Bourbon) and Maragogype (a mutant of Typica). The bean is larger than average and tends to cup peppery and spicy when they're young, maturing to an explosively fruity and lively cup when properly cultivated.

This Pacamara will be available as a Washed and a Red Honey coffee. Each version will have very different attributes in body and sweetness, so make sure to try both! Order Pacamara Washed or get BOTH at a special price!
