Catuai (Bavarian Yeast Fermented)


It's Oktoberfest time so we decided to create another beer yeast fermented coffee in celebration. (You can't drink delicious beer ALL day...)

We worked with friends at Omega Yeast in Chicago to find the perfect partner for this fermentation. The yeast used is known to exhibit a clove and pepper tasting profile when used in beer. The resulting coffee decided to pave its own sweet path, developing flavors of molasses, orange and Raisinets. A complementary combination of palate pleasers that will energize minds and bodies for more Oktoberfest celebration.
