As we completed the roaster for this year's Barrel Bonanza, everyone agreed that a Willett Bourbon barrel was needed. With several mainstay bourbons already on the roaster, not including this just didn't feel right. Willett Distillery is known for making some of the finest whiskey around and we were excited to age some of our finest beans in this beauty.
The green coffee spent several months soaking up all the sweet and boozy goodness of the Willett Bourbon barrel. The Catuai Honey process combines with the bourbon, leaving heavy fruit and chocolate flavor notes. This one of a kind coffee is sure to be a treat for bourbon fans and coffee nerds.
